After the hype we finally got a chance to dine at Chai Ho Jai... Self serve type restaurant... quick turnaround once you make the order.. Good customer service in general. The snacks were great- I enjoyed all of them... generous portions for snacks! Suggestion- with chai (tea) you should give 2-3 biscuits (cookies) for “dip” enjoyment!! Overall good experience!
This place deserves more than 5 stars! My mom and I absolutely love it. The food is fantastic, the atmosphere is inviting, and the staff, including the manager, are genuinely wonderful. They even come to your table to ask if you enjoyed the food, which is a nice touch. I highly recommend this place!
Met a friend after a long time at "Chai ho jaye".. we ordered Aaloo ka paratha, It was very fresh and tasted good also had Kashmiri chai but we didn't like it much. We had better chai at other places.
The food is tasty and chai is good too. I loved the pink kashmiri chai. The pizza parantha was also good.
Update 1/2025: paratha with desi omelette is delicious. Halwa puri is also good. Original review: Great place for tea and snacks. We got Paratha with malai and honey, qeema paratha, aloo paratha, bihari panini (that was the best!). Karak chai and saffron chai were also great. We loved it and will be going back. It’s a new place so I would ask to give them some grace and be patient as it can get fairly crowded.
Recently, We visited Chai Ho jai with our family. The food was absolutely delicious—qeema paratha, lacha paratha, and kabab role were a standout, packed with flavor and cooked to perfection. But the real showstopper was The tea! Karak doodh patti chai.. It was rich, aromatic, and just what we needed to complete our meal. My kids enjoyed their cheesy fries, chaat,pani puri, refreshing lassi, and Pakistani-style falooda, each dish bursting with authentic taste. The staff was amazing—friendly, attentive, and welcoming, making our experience even better. Chai Hojae is a must-visit! We’ll definitely be coming back.
I loved this desi cafe! With family we visited from out of town searching for an authentic Desi taste and they delivered. We ordered club sandwiches, a chicken boti roll, aloo and qheema parathay, bun kabob, and a butter chicken panini. Everything we ordered was decent but the parathas really stood out. Here’s all the pros as to why I rated it 5 star: - Phenomenal aloo and qheema parathas - cooked fresh, chewy and just so tasty - Chai - authentic and tasty, right ratio of milk to chai and balanced amount of sugar. Ordered Karak Doodh Pati Chai and Mumbai Cutting. - Nice aesthetic and decor - they had a decent sized seating area with a nicely decorated counter area and cute decorative pillows/decor with phrases and cute poetry. Excited to come back here again soon when I visit next.
Absolutely phenomenal. I had the Butter chicken sandwich and the depth of spices and flavor was quite a joy to experience. The Pink Kashmiri Chai was light and sweet and then the Mango Kulfi was an unexpected twist with handmade ice cream squares under a divine blended mango. Definitely enough to split! The service was outstanding and everyone was pleasant, knowledgeable and helpful. I will be back for the brunch!
